Correct and Incorrect Ways to Filter

Correct Method (DO THIS)

In the example above, the user would like to select the 2nd Account to filter on (the account in cell B3). The filter value will not be set in the same row (row B), but instead in the first empty cell from the top in column A (Filter).

You can filter on as many items in this manner, as long as there are no empty cells above them.

Incorrect Method (DON’T DO THIS)

E.g. Incorrect filtering on the Account in cell B3

In the example above, the user would like to select the 2nd Account to filter on (the account in cell B3). The filter value has been the same row (row B), but there is an empty cell above it (cell A2). This will throw an error.

Even after the initial setup, continue to monitor your campaigns to ensure they are performing as expected. Use the analytics tools within DV360 to track performance and make any necessary optimizations.
